Eyebrow PMU Aftercare Instructions

  • Clean the Area After the Appointment:

Gently clean your eyebrows 2–4 hours after your appointment using a mild, unscented cleanser like baby shampoo and lukewarm water. Pat dry with a clean, lint-free towel.

  • Avoid Picking or Scratching:

Let any scabs or flakes fall off naturally. Picking can lead to uneven healing, pigment loss, or scarring.

  • Use Ointment Sparingly:

If advised, apply the recommended aftercare ointment very lightly. Do not saturate or overuse it, as excessive application can interfere with healing.

  • Avoid Makeup on the Brows:

Refrain from applying makeup, creams, or other products to the tattooed area until it’s fully healed (approximately 10–14 days).

  • No Vaseline, Polydoporin, Lanolin, or Healing Agents:

Avoid these products as they can push the ink out and disrupt the healing process. Use only what your artist recommends.

  • Avoid Submerging Brows in Water:

Keep your brows dry. Avoid swimming, saunas, long showers, or any activity that could submerge your brows in water during the healing period.

  • Avoid Sun Exposure and Tanning Beds:

Protect your brows from direct sunlight to prevent pigment fading or irritation. After healing, use sunscreen to maintain the color.

  • No Laser Treatments, Peels, or Retinol:

Avoid using lasers, chemical peels, exfoliants, or retinol products near the tattooed area during the healing period to prevent damage or pigment fading.

  • Limit Physical Activity:

Avoid heavy sweating or strenuous workouts for 7–10 days to prevent irritation or pigment loss.

  • Healing Timeline:

Ombre and Combination Brows: Healing typically takes 4–6 weeks, after which the true color will settle.

Nano Brows: Healing usually takes 2–4 weeks for the color to stabilize.

  • Monitor for Irritation:

Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness is normal for the first few days. Contact your artist or a medical professional if you notice excessive irritation, oozing, or signs of infection.

  • Schedule Your Touch-Up Appointment:

After the healing period, book your follow-up appointment (usually 6–8 weeks post-procedure) to perfect the shape and color.
